THERAPY GUIDE™ REHABILITATION EQUIPMENT Research Applications' first product, the Therapy-Guide System, was used with severely handicapped children to teach and develop over forty basic physical rehabilation skills involving position, movement, strength, and coordination. The system was comprised of six solid-state electronic sensors with telemetry that detected desirable therapy behaviors and provided biofeedback and motivational rewards to the patient while capturing comparative performance data for use by the therapist. This system was used in classrooms for the severely handicapped throughout the United States.
